Today I wanted to share why, to whom, and for what purpose a rank session is needed.
In reality, a person occupies a certain position / place in each of his manifestations. For example, in our family we occupy the place of a parent, in a parent’s family the place of a child, at work the place of a position. A position is our rank, in other words, a certain level in the hierarchy.
At different times we feel differently in each of these positions. In one we may feel cramped, in another way, we may feel more and more important. Sometimes we may feel pressure or, at some points, we may put pressure on someone ourselves.
All this happens unconsciously, because in every position the psyche seeks some kind of balance, and if there is a disturbance, it will balance or compensate for this balance in whatever way is available.
In a rank session, we align ourselves in relation to each position. And in this way the overall disbalance is evened out, we become, on the whole, adequate. Where we felt pressure, we became even, where we “pressured”, we stopped doing it.
A rank session is useful to equalize ourselves in relation to all of our positions.
When is it especially relevant to do or repeat a rank session?
- When we change our place of residence or move to a new place. In a new place we often get used to, adapt, we may be uncomfortable, we may feel like strangers, “out of place”. A rank session will help make this adaptation process more environmentally friendly.
- When important life events happen. Such as graduating or changing schools, getting a job or changing jobs, starting a family, or having a baby.
After such events, we find ourselves in a new position / role, and we begin to lose it somehow in reality. In fact, there is a complete redistribution of one’s resources in relation to the previous period of life. This process can be compared to the fact that, for example, we lived in a house, got used to it somehow, and then new residents arrive in our house, or we build an addition to the house, or we modernize something in the house. In order to get used to the new conditions, we begin to adjust to them somehow, simply put, adapt. But the adaptation process can be difficult for us.
Since the GSR is a transformational technique, a rank session allows us to put everything in its place, and it will be easier for us already in the new conditions, as if it was so, and adaptation will not be necessary.
Recently, due to world events, companies and businesses have been undergoing transformations. Familiar positions and roles are beginning to take on new tasks and unusual functions. People in these processes begin to feel uncomfortable, the habitual way of life changes, and main way of life changes, as the business begins to exist in conditions of universal mobilization, and it begins to affect everyone.
In such cases, I also recommend doing a rank session.
